Ok I don't know if you can tell what this is, but don't despair, I'll solve the mystery.
It is an owl made of (bwaaahaahaa) seashells and googly eyes.

Why do I own it?
It was a joke gift from a sick individual.
It is from a thrift store called Out of the Closet and I love that sweet ,little shell owl!

That is just so sad :) I remember whan all of that seashell art was popular. Egads. Those, and the pet rocks? What were people thinking? And of course, when you get them as gifts... you can't even throw them away. But, I do LOVE thrift stores :) The ones in my area aren't as great as they used to be, but you could find such cool stuff!!!
I think everyone picks out the cook stuff and sells it on eBay now before it even reaches the floor. Turds.
