We are making some progress with the house.
The tile in the kitchen is almost done.
It is a pretty slate-looking porcelain.
We picked up the dishwasher but it can't go in until the floor is done,
We have no stove so Mr. Bird is BBQ-ing so we can eat something besides
microwave food.
We are lucky to be able to bbq in February.

Those tiles are beautiful. Looks just like slate. I'd love to see a finished photo, too! We're getting ready to do our floors in wood. I want a very antique looking weathered wood. I want a super old Tuscan feel.. which I'm sure only we will love :)
Love that tile! My brother and his wife have been doing some home improvement, too. I know how hard it is to live with a torn-up house, but you're going to be so happy when it's over. And it WILL end!
