Infomercials are so odd.
I mean who watches a 30 minute commercial for crap you never knew you needed.
But sometimes you get sucked in and can't look away. At least I do.
Have you ever bought anything off of one?
I am embarrassed to say that I have!
The SpinSpa! It seemed like a cool skin exfoliator!
But it was cheaply made and ended up being a money-taker :(
I especially like to watch the Magic Bullit chopper, the spacebag, the Gazelle (strictly for laughs), and the Bare Essentials makeup.
Damn, I have no life!

HA! I knew I was not the only one in the world to get suckered in by the infomercial! Between the Magic Bullet and the damn pillow made out of micro beads, I am doomed!

My 10 year old loves these. He always gets really excited and says, "Mom, you should get that!"
I was actually tempted by 4 Minute Abs or whatever the blasted thing is called.
So I googled it and found a litany of complaints about how cheap and inneffective the thing was. Save me forty bucks!
There is a machine at my gym that looks like the gazelle - only better made. Every time I use it I start laughing, thinking of that hyper mullett screaming Tony Little.
I don't? I really don't. I know I don't like that exercise guy that yells and is really sort of ugly looking with long hair. A friend of mine made me laugh though, her 8 year old son had watched one and wrote all of the information down for her. "Mommy! You missed this, you need one of these!!" That was funny :)
I like the exercise infomercials. They almost always convince me, but I back down at the last moment!!
I like the sounds of the 70's Time Life cd series. there's one on now with Kenny Rogers and his face is stretched so tight!!!!

p.s. I too saw that one with Kenny Rogers looking like he was about to take a crap (either that or explode). Horrible old bastard trying to sell me some bogus compiled country cd box!
