Tweet of the Day for Ffleur

Canada Goose

They are so sweet and I love the way that they fly in V formation.
The reason that they do this is to cut the wind resistance. They switch off the lead so that everyone has it hard for awhile and then get to take it easy for a bit. They migrate very long distances.
Very democratic, no?

How cool, they look so regal in flight. I hope Dicke Cheney and his posse don't shoot em down ;(

I'm with you bird. I love watching the V formations they so naturally make. They are totally fascinating to watch when they fly.

Flix/Norm keeps promising pictures... where are they?

Argh. They are everywhere here. I'm lucky, but there is a small lake in our neighborhood and they love it. I would be hopping mad if they were crapping all over my back yard!!!! And I have to watch not to run them over as they slowly wander across the street.
